After a pretty disastrous day yesterday, I was over the moon to have had 7 acceptances in to the South Birmingham Salon, including all four of my entries being accepted in to the portraits section which is very pleasing since up to just a couple of years ago, I actively avoided taking pictures of people! I was also awarded a BPE Ribbon for Asian Girl.
This takes me to my second BPE Crown award, so I’m super chuffed – That’s 50 acceptances in to BPE exhibitions – On to BPE3 now? That’s going to be a pretty long haul I think!

Three acceptances in the Southampton Salon, Including a first time acceptance for “Dolphin In The Red Sea” which will count towards the PSA Nature Division which is very pleasing.
Wow! So this is a 5 salon circuit each with 3 sections, but must count as one of my best results in international competition.

That’s an average of over 6 images per salon – more than 50% acceptance rate.
I was also given two Bronze Medals and a Honorable Mention. 11 out of my 12 images were accepted across the board and I narrowly missed out on the prestigious FIAP Blue Badge for the Vihti Salon coming equal second with 9 acceptances.

This exhiition had 6 sections, Nature, Child, Woman, Portrait, Colour and Monochrome. I didn’t get anything in the Child section which came as no surprise as I don’t really have any images of children that I would consider good enough, but I was very pleased to recieve a total of 13 acceptances in all, including a Salon Gold Medal for Devotion, and an Honorable Mention for Asian Girl

This is the second BPE Salon of the year, and I’m close to achieving my second BPE Crown, but unfortunatly I only recieved one Acceptance this time, so still two short!
This is a 3 salon Circuit, each with 4 sections (Woman, Portrait, Colour and Monochrome) and the first chance to try out some new images so I was absolutely delighted with 20 acceptances, including 3 Honorable Mentions and a Silver Medal for Devotion on it’s first outing.

3 Acceptances in to Clay Cross this year, so I’m very pleased with that – I even got one in to the Creative section – something I’ve been playing about with more and more lately
